Brand and current business

VBIT Hong Kong Crypto Assets is the service brand used on this website. Our current business is physical-store OTC in Hong Kong, including Bitcoin buying and selling, exchange of other supported assets, USDT cash-out and large OTC trades. The website and official WhatsApp provide information, quotes and visit arrangements; transactions take place in stores.

HKD is settled in cash at the store only. USDT is for customers to sell for HKD; we do not sell USDT to customers. For current services and all four stores, see About VBIT and OTC Services.

Business registration and qualifications

Business registration does not constitute a financial services licence or regulatory approval. Hong Kong's Inland Revenue Department also states that business registration is not a business licence. See the IRD explanation of business registration.

Transaction checks and customer confidentiality

Under the current AML and CFT terms, all customers must provide accurate, up-to-date identity documents before using our services. We reserve the right to make reasonable identity checks and source-of-funds enquiries, monitor transactions under formal policies and handle suspicious transaction reports as required. We may reasonably refuse service to individuals or entities suspected of money laundering or terrorist financing.

Quotes, transfer risks and transaction records

Cryptocurrency prices fluctuate. Confirm the trade quote and settlement amount with the store before transacting. Online reference prices are not a commitment to execute a trade.

Before transferring, check the asset, blockchain network, receiving address and amount. On-chain transactions require confirmation. An incorrect address or network may cause asset loss; recovery cannot be assumed. Keep store receipts and on-chain transaction IDs to check a transaction or contact official customer service.
