Customers can sell non-stablecoin assets such as BTC and ETH, or USDT and USDC, to VBIT’s physical OTC stores in Hong Kong. Receive HKD cash after blockchain confirmation and in-store checks. The steps below explain enquiries, verification, transfer, settlement and receipts.

Contact the store with the currency, quantity and preferred location. VBIT’s cash-out service includes non-stablecoin assets such as BTC and ETH, plus USDT and USDC. Customers sell assets and receive HKD cash.
At the store, check the selling rate, asset quantity and HKD to be received, and ask how costs are handled. Provide accurate, up-to-date identification under the AML terms and complete in-store checks before handing over assets.

Use the receiving wallet details provided by the store for this trade. Check the asset, network, full address and quantity, then send from your own wallet. The sender handles blockchain fees; distinguish what the store should receive from the total deducted from your wallet.
Keep the TXID after sending. Check the receiving address and quantity on the blockchain, wait for confirmation, then have staff check receipt. If your wallet only shows Sent, check the status rather than sending again.

After blockchain confirmation, compare the selling quantity, agreed rate and HKD amount with the trade record again. Once both parties confirm, collect HKD cash at the store and count it in person.
The store retains paper transaction documents. Keep your receipt and blockchain record too. Compare the asset sold and trade amount with the cash received; raise any discrepancy with staff before leaving.

When selling, you provide the crypto assets and the store provides HKD cash. See the BTC to HKD Service and USDT Cash Out; USDT is not available for customers to buy.
VBIT’s AML Terms require accurate, up-to-date identification before using the service. When sending assets yourself, you handle the blockchain fees. Ensure your wallet has enough to pay for the transfer, and compare the store’s net receipt with the selling quote.
Check the TXID, receiving address, asset quantity and in-store trade record together, then confirm the HKD due. Sent and confirmed on the blockchain are different states. If unclear, check the record with staff to avoid sending twice.
All four stores open Monday to Sunday: Mong Kok 9:30–20:00; Tsim Sha Tsui, Causeway Bay and Kwun Tong 11:00–19:30. For a large trade, contact the store through the Official Enquiry Page or WhatsApp or WeChat on +852 6770 9992 to arrange your visit.
