An in-store crypto transaction should make both sides of the exchange clear: which asset the customer sends or receives, and whether HKD cash is paid or collected. VBIT provides physical OTC services in Mong Kok, Tsim Sha Tsui, Causeway Bay and Kwun Tong.
Selling USDT for HKD cash
The customer sends USDT using the receiving details verified for the trade. After blockchain confirmation and transaction checks, the customer receives the corresponding HKD cash at the store. VBIT does not sell USDT to customers. See the USDT cash-out process.
Buying or selling Bitcoin
A BTC purchase starts with the customer paying HKD cash and providing their own receiving address. A BTC sale follows the opposite direction. Do not confuse the two when checking a quote or a wallet transfer.
Check the handover in the right order
- Agree the asset quantity and HKD amount.
- Verify the asset, network and receiving address before any transfer.
- Check the blockchain transfer and the receipt.
- Count the HKD cash being paid or received.
- Retain the transaction documents.
Physical premises are one part of a transaction
An identifiable location and official contact channel help you know whom you are dealing with. They do not make a transfer risk-free or make a blockchain record private. View the four store locations and branch hours before planning a visit.
