Hong Kong Physical Crypto OTC: Transactions and Transfer Checks

A physical OTC service provides an identifiable place to discuss a crypto-asset trade and its cash handover. At VBIT, the service is centred on Hong Kong stores and HKD cash settlement. Users still need to understand and verify each transaction.

Identify the service and contact channel

Use the official store address and contact details, rather than relying on an unsolicited message or a social-media profile. Check whether the actual transaction is buying Bitcoin, selling Bitcoin or cashing out USDT; these directions are different.

Connect the quote to the transfer

Agree the asset quantity and HKD amount before proceeding. Verify the asset, network and receiving address for the actual transfer. A label such as physical OTC does not by itself verify a wallet address or the identity of a person sending you instructions.

Reconcile the cash handover

After blockchain confirmation and transaction checks, compare the cash amount and receipt with the agreed transaction. Keep both the store receipt and transfer reference. For a Bitcoin purchase, the customer pays HKD cash and receives BTC into their own wallet; for cash out the direction is reversed.

Understand the limits of a physical setting

A real address allows face-to-face communication, but does not guarantee that an asset has no risks, that every transaction will be instant or that blockchain records are private. VBIT's USDT service is cash out only. The service overview and store contact page provide the relevant official entry points.
