Cardano Price and Technical Indicators: A 2024 Review

Concept illustration of digital asset markets and a trader

This is a historical market review. Read prices and views in their original context; they are not current market data or forecasts of returns.

Market movements at the time

Cardano (ADA) fell 1% to $0.3335 that day, while the wider crypto market lost 0.5% over 24 hours.

ADA was down 13% over a week and 10.5% over a month, but up 15% over a year. The report described that gain as modest beside assets such as Ethereum, which had risen 32% over 12 months.

Technical indicators and price expectations

Chart analysis at the time focused on converging resistance and support and a possible flag pattern. This was an interpretation, not an assurance of a subsequent breakout.

ADA's RSI rose from 30 the previous day to just above 50, suggesting recovering momentum. Its 30-period moving average was also rising steadily towards the 200-period average. These were historical technical signals and cannot alone forecast returns.

Token prices also depend on liquidity, supply and news. Calculating gains using a hypothetical target far above the price at the time is only a mathematical scenario, not an achievable investment return.
